CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – A River Flood Warning has been issued for Clarion County at Cooksburg.

The National Weather Service issued the following River Flood Warning at 9:40 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018:

RIVER FLOOD WARNING ISSUED FROM 10:44AM EST FRI UNTIL 3:21AM EST SAT

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR, THE CLARION RIVER AT COOKSBURGVFROM THIS MORNING UNTIL LATE TONIGHT, OR UNTIL THE WARNING IS CANCELLED.

AT 9:00 AM FRIDAY THE STAGE WAS 12.4 FEET. FLOOD STAGE IS 13.0 FEET.

MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.

FORECAST…THE RIVER WILL RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY LATE THIS MORNING AND CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 14.0 FEET BY THIS EVENING. THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY TONIGHT.

IMPACT…AT 13.0 FEET, MACBETH CABINS FLOOD AND WATER REACHES RIVER ROAD NEAR THE STATE PARK OFFICE
