* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow with total possible snow accumulation in excess of 6 inches.

* WHERE…Mercer, Venango, Forest, Clarion, and Jefferson Counties.

* WHEN…From Monday evening through Wednesday afternoon. The heaviest snow of the snow is likely Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Significant reductions in visibility are possible.

A Winter Storm Watch for heavy lake effect snow means there is a potential for a large amount of snow in only a few hours. Visibilities and depth of snow can vary greatly, impacting travel significantly. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
