Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 119

BELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 8:03 a.m. on August 11, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 119, at its intersection with Airport Road, in Bell Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 65-year-old George M. Clark, of Reynoldsville, and 46-year-old Kevin P. Marshall, of Luthersburg, were involved in the collision.

Police say Clark was traveling east on Airport Road and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection with SR 119. He then drove his 2010 Chevrolet Silverado onto SR 119 directly into the path of a 1994 GMC Vandura operated by Marshall which was being driven south.

The left front of the Silverado impacted the right front of the Vandura.

Both drivers and two passengers in Marshall’s vehicle – a 15-year-old female and 74-year-old Elaine A. Marshall, both of Luthersburg – were using seat belts.

No injuries were reported.

Both vehicles were disabled as a result of the impact and were towed from the scene by Rebuck’s South Side Towing.

Clark was charged with a traffic violation.
