Helen M. Zaczyk, 94, of DuBois, passed away Monday, March 09, 2015, Manor Care in Greentree.
She was born on February 18, 1921 in DuBois, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Motto) Bockoras. On February 19, 1944 she married Michael Zaczyk, who passed away on February 13, 2002.
Helen worked as a seamstress for 22 years at Ideal Products.
She was a member of St Michael the Archangel Church, DuBois where she served as a Eucharistic minister, Prague Rosary Society, Council of Human Dignity and ladies auxiliary of the Polish Citizen Club.
She is survived by her daughter: Barbara Ann Peterson and her husband Arthur of Moon Twp, PA, two grandchildren: Alysia Peterson and Jason Peterson, four great grandchildren: Michael Peterson, Kylie Peterson, Cody Peterson of Moon Twp, PA and Thailor Peterson of Nework, OH; a sister: Marguerite Penvose of Palmyra, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant twin brothers, two sisters:Mary Damico and Betty Kearne and a brother, George Bokoras .
A funeral prayer service will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. with Father Daniel Kresinski officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 10:30am-12:30pm on Friday at the funeral home.
