Julia C. “Dolly” Curry, age 82, formerly of East Park Avenue, DuBois, PA died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born May 4, 1933 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Julia (Noble) Alexander. She was raised by her grandmother, Bessie Alexander.
On October 27, 1951, she married Darrell Curry. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2011.
Dolly was a homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in DuBois, PA. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was an animal lover.
She is survived by her daughter, Darilyn J. “DeDe” Reed and her husband, Blair of Sykesville, PA and her son, Robert D. Curry and his wife, Robin of DuBois, PA, one sister, Miriam Pane of Penfield, PA, five grandchildren (Michael and Scott Rafferty, Jessica and Isabella Curry, and Miles Sabatine), and two great grandchildren (Dakota Songer and Julia Rafferty).
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold and Frank Alexander and a sister, Virginia Alexander.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 1 P.M. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
