James S. “Jamie” Osburn, III, age 61, Stuart Road, Falls Creek, PA died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born June 16, 1955 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Sherman Osburn, Jr. and Margaret S. Osburn. Mrs. Osburn survives.
On October 15, 1977, he married his high school sweetheart, Penny (Frick) Osburn. They would have celebrated 40 years of marriage this October.
He was the owner of Osburn Buick GMC, Inc. in DuBois.
Jamie was a member of the DuBois Country Club and the DuBois Y.M.C.A.
He enjoyed participating in many sports, but especially loved running and golf.
Jamie is survived by two children: James Sherman Osburn, IV and his wife, Maritza of Michigan and Sarah Ann Lord and her husband, Jason of Georgia, three grandchildren (Elijah and Sofia Osburn and Addison Lord); a sister, Lisa Wyant and her husband, Bill of DuBois, PA, and a brother, Jeffrey S. Osburn and his fiancé, Fran Manners of Punxsutawney, PA.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 1-4 P.M. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10 A.M. from St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Walk officiating.
Memorials may be sent to the DuBois Area Y.M.C.A., 25 Parkway Drive, DuBois, PA and or the charity of the donor’s choice in the DuBois area.
