Police: Local Man Repeatedly Punches, Kicks Woman, Leaves Her With Broken Arm

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Falls Creek man is facing criminal charges after he is accused of repeatedly punching and kicking a woman, leaving her with a broken arm, bruises, and abrasions.

Court documents indicate the DuBois-based State Police filed criminal charges against 30-year-old Kyle Scott Dilley.

According to a criminal complaint, around 8:00 p.m. on August 27, DuBois-based State Police were dispatched to a residence on Ridge Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County, and the area of the Brockway Sheetz, on Main Street in Brockway, for related reports of a domestic assault.

According to the complaint, after arriving at Sheetz, police determined Kyle Dilley fled the Ridge Road domestic incident in the victim’s car when a known relative encountered him and retrieved the vehicle. Dilley then left the area on foot.

At the Ridge Road residence, police spoke to the known female victim of the incident, who was in an ambulance with an apparent broken left arm and numerous bruises and abrasions on her face and arms, according to the complaint.

The victim told police that Kyle Dilley “beat her up.”

The victim was subsequently transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for medical treatment.

According to the complaint, in a later interview, the victim told police Dilley began punching and kicking her around 1:30 p.m. She stated he was “delusional” and was asking about people hiding in the residence and asking her questions about his life and apparent delusions. The victim said she could not answer the questions, and Dilley would then punch her.

The victim reported Dilley had broken her door down, then punched and kicked her repeatedly. She also said he had a knife in his hand and told her, “I’m going to stab you,” and “I’m going to kill you.” She told police she became physically ill and threw up, then told Dilley she had to lay down and said to just kill her. Dilley allegedly replied he was leaving, and the victim said to take her car and go. She then texted another family member for help, and the family member called 9-1-1.

Dilley was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak at 9:15 a.m. on August 28, on the following charges:

– Aggravated Assault – Attempts to cause Serious Bodily Injury or causes injury with extreme indifference, Felony 1
– Terroristic Threats With Intent To Terrorize Another, Misdemeanor 1
– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2 (two counts)
– Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

Unable to post $100,000.00 monetary bail, he was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.

A preliminary hearing for the case has not yet been scheduled.
