Drawing close to 1,000 visitors a year, the official Gingerbread Tour began over a decade ago. However, Pat MacBeth, a local artisan from Sigel, originally created the event several decades ago.

MacBeth and her friends created and sold hand-crafted items in the Sigel-Cook Forest area. The small production eventually expanded to include local craft vendors.

Eight restaurant stops have been added to this year’s tour.

Participating locations will be marked by a 4′ tall gingerbread man.
