26-Year-Old Sykesville Man Arrested for Assault

crime-newsSYKESVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – According to DuBois-based State Police, around 9:05 a.m. on March 1, an assault occurred on Sykes Street, in Sykesville Borough, Jefferson County.

Police say a known 26-year-old Sykesville man pulled a 22-year-old Sykesville woman by the hair and then struck her on the head, face, and legs.

The man was taken into custody and transported to Jefferson County Jail.

The name of the suspect was not released.
