36-Year-Old Brookville Man Charged with Drug Possession

Police CarBROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Police, a 36-year-old Brookville man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance following an incident that occurred in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Police were called to the scene of a reported domestic dispute between a male and a female at approximately 7:30 a.m. on March 9 at a residence on E. Main Street.

When police arrived, the parties were separated, and it was determined that the altercation was verbal and over an income tax refund debit card.

After speaking with one of the parties involved, police determined that the 36-year-old male involved in the altercation was in possession of marijuana and a glass pipe used to smoke marijuana.

Both items were seized by police.

Police say the man is being charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The name of the suspect was not released.
