A.B.A.T.E. Poker Run, Gun Raffle Set for August 18

LIMESTONE, Pa. (EYT) – A.B.A.T.E. (Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education) of Clarion County will hold their 5th Annual Run N Gun and Cash & Gun Bash on Saturday, August 18

This fundraiser is the organization’s primary source to help those in need in the local community. They have given thousands of dollars away to local individuals, veterans, victims of accidents and fires, and to several charity funds for those suffering from other hardships.

A.B.A.T.E. of Clarion County has also supported other causes in the community such as Camo Cares, Brookville’s Friends of the Flag, Friends of Christian, Brookville Laurel Festival’s Bike Show, Clarion Autumn Leaf Festival’s Bike Show, many charitable rides, funeral escorts, and their own yearly toy drive.

After the Run N Gun portion of the event, the Cash & Gun Bash will take place at Piney Meadows Park. At least ten guns and ten cash prizes will be raffled off.

Tickets for the Run are $10 and the tickets for the raffle are also $10. Tickets include dinner, drinks, and inclusion in the raffle. Registration for the poker run is from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the small pavilion at Piney Meadows Park. The gates for the raffle open at 2:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 4:00 p.m.

A.B.A.T.E. of Clarion County is a volunteer, non-profit organization. Their mission is not only motorcycle safety, education, awareness, and advocacy; it also includes supporting our local community through charitable works. Meetings are held at 10:00 a.m. on the second Sunday of each month at Toby Hill Bar and Grill in Clarion.
