Abie S. Moot, 54 of Punxsutawney, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Abie was born June 28, 1961, a daughter of the late Samuel and Dorothy (Rydbom) Pierce.
Abie loved time with her grandchildren whom she adored. She was a longtime member of the Punxsutawney Eagles, enjoyed quilting, crocheting and occasional mischief.
She will be missed by many close friends. She is survived by her fiance; Ralph Gianvito of Punxsutawney, a son; Charlie Gambino and wife April of Blakeslee,PA. Her beloved grandchildren; Aden, Penelope, Christian and Elxia Gambino, one brother; Dennis Pierce of Dover, PA., and two sisters; Mandy Robedee of Coudersport and Myra Swartzentruver and husband John of Big Run. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother; Joseph Pearce. All arrangements are private for family and under the direction of the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
