Adelaide P. Palmerino, 91 of Punxsutawney, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rahabilitatin Center.
Miss Palmerino was born January 6, 1924 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Frank and Jessie (Carlino) Palmerino.
Adelaide was a member of the SSCD Roman Catholic Church.
She was a graduate of SSCD High School.
She was Plant Manager of Punxsy Sportswear before retirement.
She is survived by her brothers; James and Alfred Palmerino of Fremont, CA., and her sister; Roseann Fallara of Punxsutawney, close family friend; Ted McKinney of Riverside, CA., also numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters; Diane Serge, Lucy Ivens, Marguerite DeLuca, Mary Jane Guginet, Jo Coats and brothers; Michael, Tony and Frank Palmerino.
Friends will be received from 68 pm Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A Blessing Service will be held at 11 am Wednesday at the funeral home with Msgr. Joseph Riccardo as Celebrant.
Mausoleum entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
