Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Washington Head CFP Poll; Penn State Stays Seventh, WVU 16th, Pitt 25th

INDIANAPOLIS – With just one week remaining to decide who will play in the College Football Playoff, Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and Washington sit in playoff positions in the latest College Football Playoff poll.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin, No. 6, and Penn State, No. 7, are still alive for a possible berth should one of the three teams – Alabama, Clemson and Washington – playing in conference title games slip up. The Badgers and Nittany Lions play each other in the Big Ten Championship game Saturday. A fourth Big 10 school, Michigan, is also still alive at No. 5.

Pitt entered the rankings at No. 25, the Panthers first appearance in the poll this year, while West Virginia is up two spots to No. 16.
