JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – A freezing rain advisory remains in effect for Jefferson County and surrounding areas.

The following advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh at 3:52 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014:

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS…AROUND A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* ICE BEGINNING…LATE THIS MORNING…POSSIBLY MIXED WITH SLEET AND SNOW AT THE ONSET.

* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE ICE…THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

* ICE ENDING…OVERNIGHT.

* IMPACTS…DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO ICY ROADS.
