Wind Advisory Remains in Effect for Region, Gusts May Reach 50 MPH

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – A Wind Advisory remains in effect for Clarion County and surrounding areas from Midnight tonight until 7 a.m. Monday.

The following message was released by the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 3:34 p.m.

* IMPACTS…STRONG WIND CAN DOWN TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES. TREES ROOTED IN SATURATED SOIL MAY BE TOPPLED.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND GUSTS GREATER THAN 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WIND THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT… ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES AND FOR HIGH-PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
