CLARION, Pa. – A winter storm watch has been issued for Clarion County and surrounding areas.

The following urgent winter weather message was released by the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014:

* SNOW/ICE ENDING…LATE WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* WINDS…NORTH 10 TO 20 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES…UPPER 20S AND LOWER 30S.

* IMPACTS…HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO ACCUMULATION OF A WINTRY MIX OF SNOW…SLEET…AND ICE.
