Winter Weather Advisory Remains in Effect; 2 to 4" of Snow Expected for Clarion County

snowstormCLARION, Pa. – Pennsylvania will be getting another blast of cold, rain, snow, and wind as Winter Storm Vulcan treks its way from the Midwest and eventually to the Mideast.

Parts of at least 12 states are under winter weather alerts, spanning from Illinois to Maine.

Forecasters say from Erie to Bradford, and south through the Laurel Highlands, Pennsylvanians are likely to get a decent amount of snow from this storm. It is predicted that the region from Harrisburg to the Philadelphia region will most likely get rain.

Temperatures are also going to drop quickly, and forecasters anticipate wind gusts in the 20 to 30 mph range.URGENT – WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh issued an Urgent Winter Weather Message for Clarion County and surrounding areas at 12:51 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, as follows:
