Alexandria “Sandy” Lea Spuck

Alexandria “Sandy” Lea Spuck, 77, of Punxsutawney, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 9, 2019, following an illness.

She was born on January 8, 1942, in Reynoldsville, PA to the late John Spuck Jr. and Lottie (Briscoe) Spuck.

Sandy was known for her great personality.

She liked to give those she knew nicknames, and brought smiles to the faces of all who knew her with her feisty ways.

Sandy enjoyed singing, and knew the words to many songs, such as “Witch Doctor” and “Red Solo Cup.”

She enjoyed magazines, and loved her Reese’s peanut butter cups and coffee.

She is survived by a sister, Joyce M. Wendler and husband Carl of Pine Grove Mills, PA; an aunt, Olga DeLuca of Reynoldsville; four cousins; James DeLuca of Reynoldsville; Lorraine DeLuca of Beaumont, TX; Nancy (DeLuca) Buckley of Fairfax, VA; and Edna Emerick of DuBois, PA.

Family and friends will be received from 4 – 5pm on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the Snyder-d’Argy Funeral Home, 207 E Main St, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.

A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing, beginning at 5:00pm and officiated by Father Matias Quimno.

Interment will take place at the Reynoldsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Sandy’s name to Fayette Resources Inc. in DuBois, PA.
