Alice “Aggie” Marie Varner, 81, of Cloe, PA died Friday, February 12, 2016 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital in Punxsutawney, PA.
She was born December 4, 1934 in Cloe, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie (Brunner) Elbell.
She was married to David L. Varner, who preceded her in death on February 6, 1987.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Cloe United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas Varner and Kim Uplinger, and John Varner, both of Punxsutawney, PA; one daughter, Karen Himes and her husband, Clair of Coolspring, PA; and by two sisters, Ruth Packer of Fairless Hills, PA and Dorothy Elbell of Punxsutawney, PA.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, Mike and Ashley Himes and Taylor and Kyle Varner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and two brothers and two sisters.
Friends will be received at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8.
The funeral service will be held at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark Blair officiating.
Interment will follow at Circle Hill Cemetery in Punxsutawney, PA
