Fred was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Germany during the Korean Conflict.
He also served the community as a member of the Army’s Airborne Rangers and as a member at St. Bernard’s Church in Falls Creek.
He was laid to rest in the St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway.
Full military honors were accorded by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion, following his funeral service.
