Bruzga, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, was born in DuBois and living in Brookville. He served during the Vietnam War.

Bruzga retired as a senior bridge inspector from Kimball Engineering.

He was a life member of Goodwill Hose Co. #5, the Falls Creek and Brookville Eagles, and the Olympic Athletic Club.

Bruzga was also a member and past president of the former Lithuanian Independence Club and a member of the James J. Patterson Post 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He died at age 67 in 2016.
