Alverta Joan (Chick) Boals, 96, of Meadville, PA, died Monday, August 10, 2015, at Juniper Village, Meadville.
She was born January 14, 1919, in Punxsutawney, PA, a daughter of the late Robert C. and Myrtle (Anderson) Chick.
On April 27, 1942, she married Walter G. Boals, who preceded her in death on January 20, 1982. She later married Charles Ennis on August 27, 1983, who preceded her in death on September 6, 1984.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Meadville and also a member of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her sister, Lois Smith of Gulf Hammock, Florida.
In addition to her two husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Oscar Chick and Robert R. Chick, and a sister Betty Hardcastle.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at the funeral home with Reverend Jean Caudill officiating.
Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Frostburg.
