Andrew P. Haag

Andrew P. Haag, 73, Luthersburg, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born November 18, 1947, in Penn Township, PA, he was the son of the late Seymour and Susie (Swartzlander) Haag.

On October 13, 1973, he married Karen (Hartzfield) Haag at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ. She survives.

Andrew worked as an equipment operator for Benjamin Coal Company and Waroquier Coal Company.

He enjoyed hunting, can collecting, square dancing, helping friends and neighbors, and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandkids.

Andrew was a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Luthersburg.

In addition to his wife, Andrew is survived by two children, Andrew “Andy” (Cindy) Haag II, Luthersburg, and Robin (Bill) Brilla, Kylertown; seven grandchildren, Erin Nauman, Kristin Rutledge, Bradon Haag, Devin Haag, Griffin Haag, Kamden Haag, and Matthew Wachob; four siblings, John (Gloria) Haag, Transfer, PA, Lerena Jones, Copperas Cove, TX, Fredrick Haag, Grampian, and Albert (Lourae) Haag, Grampian, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Gretchen Wachob, and his siblings, Susie Dilts, Joseph Haag, and Charles Martin Haag.

There will be no public visitation or service.

A memorial service is planned for a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
