Anna A. Hollenbaugh, born on July 18, 1935, was received home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on May 4, 2018.
Ann was a graduate of the Punxsutawney High School Class of 1953 where she was a commercial secretary student.
Ann married the love of her life, Toby C. Hollenbaugh, of Panic, PA, on February 6, 1954. She worked at the Hour Glass Cleaners in Punxsutawney as well as the Punxsutawney Spirit. She attended the Dora Evangelical Church.
Ann will be remembered for her contagious smile. She enjoyed traveling, her flowers, and her friends and family. She still enjoyed monthly get-togethers with “the kids” from her high school class. She was an avid reader. Her most beloved roles were that of mother to her children and “Nana” to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a loving friend and companion to her sweetheart – Allen Barnett, of Dora, PA. They enjoyed many adventures including gun and car shows together.
She is survived by her children: Toby Hollenbaugh, Jr. and wife Crystal of Dayton, PA, Tonya Schalk of DuBois, PA, Tracy Colgan and husband Randall of Home, PA, Tianda Young and husband John of Punxsy, PA, and TaShawna Havrilla and husband David of Dayton, PA. Additionally, she is survived by her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her sweetheart Allen Barnett of Dora.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Toby Hollenbaugh Sr., her sons, Daniel J. and Terry David Hollenbaugh, both of Dayton, her parents Mildred (Marie) Travis-McQuown and Woodrow Wilson Travis and step-father David C. McQuown as well as her brother Paul Travis.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home.
At Ann’s request, a private memorial service will be held for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests loving acts of kindness be done to honor her memory.
