Anna P. Reed, 93 of Ringgold, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
Anna was born December 28, 1922 in McWilliams, PA, a daughter of the late Silas and Esther R. (Snyder) Neese.
Anna married her husband Charles C. Reed, July 28, 1943. He preceded her in death June 6, 2002.
She attended the Brookville Assembly of God Church and enjoyed bowling and playing cards with her friends. Anna was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was especially endeared to her great-grandson Chase.
She is survived by her children; Larry Reed and wife Helen, Dolores Young and husband Ken, all of Ringgold, her brother; Laird Neese and wife Patricia also of Ringgold, her sister; Iris Geraldine Minnick of Corry, four grandchildren; Terry and Tracey Reed, Bryan Young, Melissa Stewart, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Charles, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson; Joshua Young, four brothers; Walter, Robert, Harry, and Gerald Neese, one sister; Emogene Snyder, and two infants siblings; William and Laura.
Friends will be received from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the McCabe Funeral Home of Punxsutawney. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. John Thomas officiating.
Private interment will follow at St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
