Annabelle Grove

Annabelle Grove, 80, of Valier passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Grove was born September 15, 1934 in Grange, a daughter of the late Edward A. and Bertha M. (Blose) Kennedy. March 16, 1956, she married Leonard N. Grove who preceded her in death.

She attended the Hamilton United Methodist Church. Annabelle was a member of the Perry Twp. Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Mahoning Grange #1732.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and was very proud of her granddaughters whom she loved dearly.

She enjoyed making apple butter, homemade sauerkraut, Canning, gardening, playing cards and bingo.

She is survived by her son; Glenn D. Grove and wife Kristeen of Valier, sisters; Louise Koch of Punxsutawney, Jean Barnett of Stanton, brother; Lyle Kennedy and wife Fran of Mayport, granddaughters; Heather Ann and Brook Lee Grove, brother in law;Raymond Miller of Cloe and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Leonard, she is preceded in death by her brother; Sam Kennedy and sisters; Twila LaFord, Peg Elkin, Lorraine Bullers and June Miller.

Friends will be received from 6-8 pm Tuesday, March 10, 2015 and from 2-6 pm Wednesday at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney where a funeral service will be held at 6 pm with Pastor Rick Butler officiating.

Interment will be in Round Top Cemetery.
