Anne S Chitester

Anne S Chitester, age 88, of Brookville, PA passed peacefully on Friday, November 13, 2015.

Born on June 3, 1927 in Brookville, PA she was the daughter of the late Wade and Naomi Steele (Barnett).

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Thomas Chitester; loving mother of Thomas Wade Chitester, Pamela A. (William) Pierce and Amy Beth (Colin) Henkes; adored grandmother of Casey Anne Clinger, Emma Mackenzie O’Brien, and Molly Marie O’Brien; dear sister of Carol (Wayne) LaQue and the late Robert Steele and Ray Steele.

Anne was a homemaker for most of her life, she was known in the community as a very giving person. Many people enjoyed her baking and she always was delivering cookies, cakes, and pies to those in need of a thoughtful gift. She showed her love through the gift of food. Anne will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

At the family’s request all services will be private. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
