April D. Taylor, age 43, North Park Street, Sykesville, PA passed away surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer on Monday, November 16, 2015 at her home.
Born April 24, 1972 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of William E. & Audrey E. (Cyphert) Dunlap. They both survive and live in DuBois, PA.
On July 24, 1991, she married Stephen P. Taylor. He survives.
April worked as a care nurse at Christ the King Manor and previous to that, she had worked at the DuBois Nursing Home and the Reynoldsville Casket Company. She had also worked at Happy Hearts Daycare.
She was Baptist by faith and enjoyed gardening and camping. She loved reading and most importantly, she loved being a mother.
April is survived by her children, Justin P. Taylor of Bellefonte, PA and Emily S. Taylor of Sykesville, PA, a brother, William A. Dunlap of Luthersburg, PA and a sister, Melissa A. Loomis and her husband,
Timothy of DuBois, PA. She is also survived by her in-laws; the Joe Taylor family (Joe & Connie, Patty & Joe Baummer; Scott & Dani and David Taylor).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11 A.M. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor David Nagele officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
