HARRISBURG, Pa. (EYT)— Secretary of State Pedro A. Cortés recently announced a number of disciplinary actions that were taken by the Pa. Board of Nursing, including four in Jefferson County and one in Clarion County.
Jefferson
• Julie Lynn King, license no. PN265383, of Reynoldsville, Jefferson County, was reprimanded and placed on probation for a period of no less than one year based on findings that she pled guilty to a misdemeanor.
• Consetta A. Canales, f/k/a Consetta A. Minnick, license no. RN585508, of Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, was revoked based on her immoral and unprofessional conduct.
• Amanda Jean Geer, license PN280175, of Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, was automatically suspended for a period of two years based on her misdemeanor convictions under the Drug Act.
• Jennifer Lynn Green, license no. PN275462, of Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, was indefinitely suspended for no less than three years, with such suspension immediately stayed in favor of no less than three years of probation, unless that period of probation is extended or modified by mutual agreement, and subject to the board’s terms and conditions, because she is addicted to alcohol or hallucinogenic or narcotic drugs or other drugs which tend to impair judgment or coordination or has become mentally incompetent.
Clarion County
Erin Bish, license no. PN280593, of New Bethlehem, Clarion County, was indefinitely suspended and assessed $600 in costs of investigation, based finding that she is unable to practice with reasonable skill and safety.
