SYKESVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Sykesville Charge of the United Methodist Church is presenting many special events for Holy Week.
The Grace United Methodist Church in Sykesville will be hosting the following events:
– The Lakeshore Singers will be performing the Easter Cantata, “Upon This Rock” by Pepper Choplin, on Sunday, April 14, at 10:00 a.m.
– A re-enactment of Leonardo DaVinci’s Last Supper, featuring members of Grace and Pleasant Valley United Methodist Churches, will be presented on Thursday, April 18, at 7:00 p.m.
– A Good Friday Tenebrae service featuring members of Grace and Pleasant Valley United Methodist Churches will be presented On Friday, April 19, at 7:00 p.m.
Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church will be hosting this year’s Easter Sunday Celebration.
It will begin with Sunrise Service, featuring The Stones of the Passion at 7:00 a.m. followed by a Breakfast Tureen at 8:30 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church.
A traditional Easter Service will also be held at Grace United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m.
