Arrests Made in Six Month Burglary Spree

WARSAW & POLK TOWNSHIPS, Pa. (EYT) — DuBois-based State Police report multiple camps were burglarized from June 1 to November 15, 2013, in Warsaw and Polk Townships, Jefferson County.

According to police, Steven T. Lucas, 20, of Brockway, Jordan Matthews, 19, of Brookville, John Lucas, of Brockway, Candy Lucas, of Brockway, and a 17-year-old minor, of Brockway, allegedly committed 18 burglaries in the areas.

A search warrant for Steven Lucas’s residence was executed on December 6, police say.

Items from the burglaries were recovered and arrest warrants for the accused were executed thereafter, according to police.

Charges of burglary, theft, criminal mischief, and other related charges have been filed against all individuals.

John Lucas was additionally charged with a Fire Arms Act violation.
