Attorney General Kathleen Kane Warns of Potential Summer Job Scams

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Yesterday Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane warned college and high school students seeking summer employment to beware of potential scams.

“Students throughout Pennsylvania are looking forward to the end of the school year, and many are pursuing temporary summer employment,” Kane said. “Unfortunately, scammers may use the promise of easy money to take advantage of young, enthusiastic job seekers.”

Attorney General Kane encouraged consumers to consider the following when searching for employment:
