Audrey Jean Hidinger Foulks

Audrey Jean Hidinger Foulks was born to Gertrude Annabelle and George Wesley Hidinger on August 21, 1938, at Dutch Hill in Jefferson County, Pa., and died on June 6, 2016, in Brookville, Pa.

She lived her entire life within 50 miles of where she was born.

She is survived by her husband, Clair Eugene Foulks, her brother, David E. Hidinger of Schenectady, N.Y. as well as nieces Christy Black and Stephanie Zimmerman, and nephews Douglas Dodds and Michael and Kevin Hidinger.

She graduated from Brookville Area High School in the Class of 1956.

She was a secretary in Dr. R. L. Shaffer’s Office from 1956 to 1974. She continued to expand her skill set into the computer age by learning word processing, working with spreadsheets, etc. She worked on payrolls and income tax with Ron Armstrong in Brockway from 1982-1992.

Audrey and her husband, Clair, provided enthusiastic and dedicated support to the Munderf Methodist Church throughout the years. Music brought her great joy as evidenced by her 40 years of service as the organist at Munderf Church.

She was a beloved wife, a much-loved daughter, a wonderful aunt and a faithful friend to so many.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Morningside Cemetery in DuBois with Pastor Don Henderson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Munderf Methodist Church.
