‘Just Us for the Animals’ Hosting Beer Wine and Shine Festival

NEW BETHLEHEM, PA (EYT) - One does not have to look far to witness the growing popularity of wine and craft beer festivals being used as fundraisers for a variety of organizations. Event organizers agree that fundraisers like these provide an enjoyable experience for patrons while also helping to raise the necessary funds needed by each organization. Just Us for the Animals, a local nonprofit organization that exists to educate the public on overpopulation of pets while also providing low cost spay/neuter services across the exploreClarion.com and exploreJeffersonPA.com reading area, is set to hold their Beer, Wine, and Shine Festival this Saturday. The festival is slated to be held on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. at the Stumble Inn in New Bethlehem. Tickets, for those 21 an older, can be purchased a few different ways. Event organizers are offering an early bird ticket ($25 pre-sale, $30 at the door) which allows patrons to begin tasting at 4:00. The regular tickets ($20 pre-sale, $25 at the door) allows customers to begin sampling at 5:00. A souvenir glass is included with the price of admission to be used for sampling which will begin at 4:00. Those looking to purchase tickets ahead of time can visit's Zack's and A Plus in New Bethlehem, Craig's Barber Place in Clarion, and Punxsutawney Animal Hospital and the Punxsutawney Moose Lodge. In addition to being able to sample various beers and wines, festival goers will also have the opportunity to shop craft vendors and enjoy live music performed by Son of Leroy and Amanda James. All of the funds raised from the festival will go towards spaying, neutering, and basic veterinary care of all the animals. For being a relatively small nonprofit, Just us For the Animals is seeing their impact in the local communities grow tremendously. The various clinics held throughout the exploreClarion.com and exploreJeffersonPA.com reading areas help to keep about 1,000 cats and 300 dogs from having more unwanted litters each year.
