Bernice (Bonnie) Campbell Bullers

Bernice (Bonnie) Campbell Bullers passed away on October 3, 2015, at Springhill in Erie, PA.

She was born September 20, 1925 in Walston, Pa, a daughter of Olive and Preston Campbell. She graduated from Punxsutawney High School and worked as a telephone operator until she married Walter (Bud) Bullers.

She enjoyed any craft, sewing and especially the writing class at Springhill. She was Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Amaranth, and was very active with the Rainbow Girls in Indiana, PA. She was active, and on several committees, at Springhill, where she resided.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Indiana, Pa, where she helped in the kitchen, at bazaars, as Assistant Minister, and Eucharistic Minister for the shut-ins. She was also a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Greene Township.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walt (Bud) Bullers; three brothers, Earl Campbell, of Punxsutawney, Kenneth Campbell and Robert Campbell, of Brookville, and a sister, Ruth (Campbell) Grube, of Punxsutawney.

She is survived by a son, Carl E. Bullers, (friend Patti), of Marienville; a daughter, Susan (Bullers) Carey, (husband Doug), of Erie; grandchildren, Cassandra (Bullers) Reyes, (husband Jaime), Megan (Bullers) Royal, (husband Davinci), Carl E. Bullers, Jr., Seth Bullers, Bryan Carey, (wife Kim), Laura Carey (friend Casey);a sister, Anabel (Campbell) Dewitte, of Phoenix, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.
