Betty E. Lindemuth of Hazen, Pa; died on Friday January 27, 2017 at Penn Highlands Brookville.
She was born November 3, 1929 in Brockway the daughter of the late Howard and Grace Shofstahl Holt.
She was married to Kenneth J. Lindemuth, and he preceded her in death on June 27, 2007.
Betty had been employed at Brockway Glass for several years, and later retired as the last Post Mistress in Hazen.
She is survived by one son Alan (Beverly) Lindemuth of Hazen, Pa; and one brother Art Holt of Bradford (formerly of Brockway).
She is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Lisa Johnson, Benjamin Lindemuth, Thomas (Rachel) Lindemuth, and a great grandson Aidan Johnson.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Thomas Lindemuth, a grandson Andrew, 3 sisters Mabel Weisner, Hazel Shugar, Jean Snyder, and one brother Leonard Holt.
She was a member of the Hazen United Methodist Church.
There will be no public visitation.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday February 4, 2017 at the Hazen United Methodist Church, with Pastor Don Henderson officiating.
Interment will be in the Temple Cemetery at Hazen.
