Beverly L. Bennett

Beverly L. Bennett age 87 of Brandy Camp Circle Ridgway, PA; died on Saturday December 25, 2021 at her residence.

Born on June 16, 1934 in Walburn Run, she was the daughter of the late George and Sarah Carr Stubbs.

On June 28, 1952 she was married to Keith E. Bennett who preceded her in death on August 31, 2008.

Retired, Beverly had been employed at Brockway Glass from 1972-1976; and after that at Rola Jensen in DuBois.

She was also a lifelong homemaker.

Beverly was a member of the former Brandy Camp United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed going to the Chatter Box and visiting with friends and country music.

Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by a daughter Debra (Douglas) Swearer of Brandy Camp; 2 sons Bryan (Eileen Stoneberg) Bennett of DuBois and Todd (Jodi) Bennett of Brockway; her fiancé Ken Schwentner; a sister Dorothy Wingard of Salamanca, NY and a brother Floyd (Sandy) Stubbs also of Brockway.

She is also survived by 3 granddaughters: Madalyn Bennett, Jessica Bennett, Noele Swearer, a grandson Joshua Bennett and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by 3 sisters: her twin sister Bernice Bennett, Mildred Kline and Betty Fields and by 3 brothers: Kenneth Stubbs, Ronald Stubbs, Gary Stubbs and a half brother George Stubbs Jr.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday December 29 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 11AM also at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating.

Burial will follow in the Brandy Camp Cemetery.
