Bill Curry, age 67, of New Smyrna Beach, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Bert Fish Medical Center, New Smyrna Beach.
Born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, Mr. Curry, an owner/operator of closet organization systems, moved to Orlando in 1986, then settled in this area in 2001. A member of the Florida Audubon Society, he loved bird watching and rescue, was an active member of BBPOA, enjoyed photography, and riding his bicycle.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Heather; 1 daughter, Shelly (Troy) Wilkerson of Lugoff, South Carolina; 1 grandson, Jacob Wilkerson of Lugoff; and 1 sister, Louise (Pete) Mason of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.
Memorial service will be 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15 at St. Peter the Fisherman Episcopal Church, 4220 Saxon Drive, New Smyrna Beach, with the Reverend James Scott Spencer officiating.
Memorial donations in Mr. Curry’s name may be made to the Marine Science Center, 100 Lighthouse Drive, Ponce Inlet, Florida 32127.
