WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to a vehicle fire on Interstate 80 westbound on October 17.
Police say Corliss L. Moore, 35, of Malvern, Pa., was traveling near mile marker 96 when her 2006 BMW 325i caught on fire.
Moore subsequently pulled off the roadway and exited the vehicle.
Police say a witness stopped and unsuccessfully attempted to put the fire out with a fire extinguisher.
Falls Creek VFD arrived on the scene a short time later and extinguished the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
