Bradley J. Homan

Bradley J. Homan, 55, of Valier, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

He was born July 23, 1965 in Punxsutawney, to David and Mary (McQuown) Homan.

Brad was a veteran of Persian Gulf War, serving as a Medic in the United States Navy.

Brad was protestant by faith. He was a 1983 graduate of Jeff Tech. He was a member of the John M. Read, Masonic Lodge 536., Reynoldsville, PA, Brad was a Pipe Fitter, by trade, He belonged to the Pipe Fitters Union #354, Youngwood, PA. and most recently, was the safety coordinator for Kiewit, Corporation, in Uniontown.

Brad was a longtime photographer of dirt track racing at Marion Center and Dog Hollow Speedway. He was also experience with underwater photography, having taking photos in various places. Brad loved spending time with his family, watching and following dirt track racing and he especially loved his K9 companions, his German Shepherd, Drake.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Brenda (Nesbit) Homan, Valier,

his mother Mary B. Homan, Stump Creek, his father, David W. Homan, and JoAnn Pellman, Rochester Mills, a sister Erica Grove and husband Mark, Geneseo, NY, a brother David F. Homan, Stump Creek, a niece, Brittany and two nephews, Zachary and Jeremy. His mother and father-in-law, Jerry and Karen Nesbit, two sister-in-laws, Beth Huber and husband Karl, Frederick, MD, Jody London and husband Jim, Punxsutawney, a brother-in-law Brett Nesbit, Marchand. Nieces and nephews, Brittany, Zachary, Jeremy, Kira, Alex, Justin and Jordan.

Friends will be received on Saturday, May 8, from 2-5 PM. At the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA

The funeral service will be private for the family.

Interment will take place at Mahoning-Union Cemetery, Marchand.
