Co-Founder of Brookville Behavioral Health Charged with 215 Counts in Child Sex Abuse Case


PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – The co-founder of Brookville Behavioral Health is facing over 200 charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of a child.

According to a release issued Thursday by Punxsutawney-based State Police Tpr. Weaver, 56-year-old Glenn Edward Tetro, of Summerville, is facing 43 counts of Rape, 86 Counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, 34 counts of Statutory Sexual Assault, and several other related charges.

Online court documents indicate that Tetro was charged with a total of 215 counts.

Police say the victim – a known female – was sexually abused by Tetro for several years beginning in 1994.

The charges were filed as part of a joint investigation conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police and Jefferson County District Attorney Jeff Burkett’s office.

Tetro was the co-founder and clinical director of Brookville Behavioral Health.

A representative of Brookville Behavioral Health declined to comment on the matter.
