Crews Battle Structure Fire in Marienville

fireMARIENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Firefighters from several local companies responded to the scene of a structure fire on Cherry Street in Jenks Township, Forest County.

The fire broke out Friday around 10 p.m. at Baughman’s Meat Market, located at 119 Cherry Street in Marienville.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing heavy clouds of smoke billowing from the structure around 10:30 p.m.

At 11:15 p.m., the structure was completely engulfed in flames.

The fire appeared to be under control around Midnight.

There is no word on the cause of the fire.

Sources say the structure is a complete loss.

No injuries have been reported.

Crews from Marienville, Farmington Township, Washington Township, Sigel, Sheffield, and Clarion responded to the scene.
