Medical Helicopter Called to Scene of Redbank Dirt Bike Accident

REDBANK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A medical helicopter was called to the scene of a dirt bike crash near Redbank Valley Municipal Park Saturday afternoon.

Clarion County 911 received a call at 12:18 p.m. for a report of a dirt bike accident at a remote location near Redbank Valley Municipal Park, just off of Route 28.

Stat MedEvac was requested for a male patient that was injured in the accident.

The helicopter landed at a remote location near the accident around 1:19 p.m.

There was no immediate word on the patient’s condition. Initial reports indicate the patient suffered multiple injuries, including a “lower-extremity” injury.

Emergency responders from Hawthorn Volunteer Fire Department and New Bethlehem Fire Company responded to the scene.

Clarion Hospital EMS was also called to the scene.
