One Flown from Scene After Motorcycle, Truck Collide on Route 322

crash-sceneCLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – One person was transported by STAT MedEvac and another by ambulance following a crash in Clarion Township late Friday afternoon.

According to a representative of Clarion County 9-1-1, the call came in for a motor vehicle accident involving a truck and a motorcycle near the intersection of U.S. 322 and Detrick Road in Clarion Township around 4:00 p.m.

Strattanville Volunteer Fire Department, Clarion Fire & Hose Company #1, Clarion Hospital Ambulance, STAT MedEvac, and Clarion-based State Police were dispatched to the scene.

Initial reports indicate one person suffered head injuries and a second person suffered leg injuries.

Officials say one person was flown by STAT MedEvac to an unknown hospital, while another person was taken by ambulance to Clarion Hospital.

The scene was cleared around 5:00 p.m.

No additional details are available at this time.

Police are expected to release additional information within the next 48 hours.
