Police say the accident happened around 12:45 a.m. when 51-year-old Kenneth E. Haag, of Punxsutawney, failed to negotiate a left-hand turn on Blocks Road.

Haag’s 2013 Ranger RZR side-by-side exited the north side of the roadway, collided with an embankment, and then began rotating clockwise.

Police say Haag was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.

Haag was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder. He was not wearing a helmet or safety belt.
