Two Flown to Pittsburgh Hospital Following Suspected DUI Crash in Limestone Township

(EYT) – Clarion-based State Police say two men suffered major injuries in a one-vehicle crash that occurred around 2:01 a.m. on October 18, on T-492, approximately 3/10 mile east of Gourley Road, in Limestone Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 24-year-old Antonio J. Magagnotti, of Seminole, was traveling east on Skyline Road, and his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado exited the roadway.

The undercarriage of the pickup entered a ditch causing the vehicle to rollover.

Magagnotti and a passenger 24-year-old Alex S. Gourley, of New Bethlehem, were ejected from the vehicle. They were not using seat belts, police say.

Three other passengers – 24-year-old Nash A. Rupp, of New Bethlehem; 23-year-old Spencer T. Sturgeon, of New Bethlehem; and 23-year-old Logan A. Corbett, of Clarion – remained inside the vehicle. It rolled over several times before coming to a rest on its wheels in a field. They were using seat belts, according to police.

Magagnotti and Gourley were flown by STAT Medevac from the crash scene to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, police say.

Rupp and Sturgeon suffered minor injuries but were not transported to the hospital.

Corbett was not injured.

Clarion Hospital EMS and Limestone Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

According to police, DUI is suspected.

This investigation is continuing.
