Vehicle Crashes into House in Brookville; Three Children Flown to Pittsburgh Hospital

13151944_10156822278505375_5864634742053647475_nBROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police Department say early this morning a vehicle struck a house on Main Street, at Franklin Avenue.

According to police, around 2:18 a.m., the driver of the vehicle failed to navigate the turn on Main Street, Brookville, striking the house.

Police say there were four occupants in the vehicle, an adult female and three children. All occupants suffered varying injuries and were transported to Penn Highland, Brookville. The children were subsequently transported to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh by STAT MedEvac for treatment of their injuries.

The Brookville Volunteer Fire Department and Jefferson County EMS responded to the scene.

There was moderate damage to the house.

The vehicle was towed by McPherson Towing.

Violations were issued to the driver.

Police say alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in this case.

The name of the driver was not released.

No other information was provided.
