Brenda Spindler

Spindler, Brenda JoyceBrenda Spindler, age 60, passed into eternal rest on Thursday January 8, 2015. She died at home in the loving arms of her husband, Ed Spindler of Fisher.

Born in Brookville, PA on February 6, 1954, she is the daughter of William O. Ames and Rose Blake Ames of Brookville who both survive.

Brenda was a homemaker and a 1972 graduate of Brookville Area High School.

She is survived by her parents, her children, Ginni J. Klein (Will) of Harmony; Edgar L. Guiher, Meadville; and Sara R d’Argy (Brian) of Clarion. Additionally she is survived by her brother W. Dennis Ames (Lucy) of Brookville, Debra Ames Smith (Larry) of Indiana and Nancy Ames of Des Moines, Iowa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren whom she adored. She had numerous aunt and uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also had great love for the outdoors, kayaking, camping, and wildlife, particularly American Bald Eagles which she loved to watch from her home on the banks of the Clarion River. She loved blue grass music and they shared a passion for Ed’s beautiful vegetable and flower garden. She was also an ardent Steeler fan and loved attending games for many years.

A private visitation was held on Friday January 9, 2015.

Services for Brenda are being handled by McKinney Funeral Home 345 Main St. Brookville, Pa.
