BROCKWAY, Pa. (EYT) – Police have opened an investigation into a fire that broke out Friday night in Brockway, Jefferson County.
DuBois-based State Police say they are investigating the cause and origin of a fire that occurred around 9:30 p.m. at 160 7th Avenue in Brockway.
Officials say the fire damaged the structure and contents of an apartment occupied by a 53-year-old Brockway woman.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Damage is estimated at $40,000.
The investigation is continuing.
